      Zimbabwe's Wessly Madhevere Creates History with 50th Hat-trick in ODI Cricket against Netherlands. 
          In a thrilling second ODI match between Zimbabwe and the Netherlands in Harare, 22-year-old Wessly Madhevere made history by becoming the third Zimbabwean bowler to achieve an ODI hat-trick. His feat helped Zimbabwe secure a nail-biting one-run victory over the Netherlands, thereby levelling the three-match series 1-1.

Madhevere, a part-time off-spinner, took the crucial wickets of Colin Ackermann, Teja Nidamanuru, and Paul van Meekeren in the 44th over, reducing the Netherlands to 213 for six in their pursuit of Zimbabwe's total of 271. His figures of 9-0-36-3 played a significant role in Zimbabwe's win.

Previously, only Eddo Brandes and Prosper Utseya had managed to take hat-tricks for Zimbabwe in ODIs. Madhevere's hat-trick was also the 50th in the history of ODI cricket, making it a significant milestone for the format.

Madhevere has so far played 28 ODIs and taken 12 wickets. He had also contributed with the bat, scoring 43 runs while opening the batting for Zimbabwe in the match.
